INTRODUCTION

Hoanh Son Group Joint Stock Company (stylized as HSG) is a Vietnam multi-sectors enterprise embracing transportation; ship management; ship chartering & seaport operations; commercial trading and construction & investment. The company was established in 2001 by Mr Pham Hoanh Son and headquartered in Ha Tinh province, Vietnam.

Beginning as the enterprise trading construction materials and trading agricultural services, then, the company has reputed its trustworthy by successfully and effectively erecting construction nationally and privately such as Water Supply system for Vung Ang economic zone, Hoanh Son International Seaport, and Solar Power Plant in Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province, etc. Within 10 years, HSG has become a leading company in the Central region of Vietnam.

Following successes, the company has expanded its business orientation by fostering commercial trade into internationally in 2018. Several main trading products including: Coal imported from Indonesia, South Africa and Australia; Iron Ore from Laos; Gypsum plaster imported from Laos to Vietnam. Several typical projects such as HSG was the main coal supplier of EVN-Vietnam Electricity in Vinh Tan ward, Tra Vinh province and the Indonesian coal supplying project for Vinh Tan 4 TPP, etc.

To optimize international trading circle, exploiting ships has been a strategic implementation of HSG since 2020. Up to now, with Nearly 04 years of operation since the beginning of “Hoanh Son Fleet” establishment, the company is managing and operating 10 vessels in Panamax size with Right Ship standard. These vessels have experience sailing intra-Asia, to Australia areas and intend to develop plan to worldwide. Additionally, HSG is also executing the plan to build vessel by its own competence.

In the following years, besides maintaining and consolidating current business fields, the corporation will focus on Hoanh Son Fleet - ship management and operations to mark the company’s foothold in the maritime industry. Furthermore, creating the domestically employment opportunities as well as practicing corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the company’s long-term strategy.
